One bonus per player. Swedish regulator investigates violations

Casinos licensed in Sweden are not allowed to offer countless bonuses. They can only award the welcome bonus once per player, and that's it. No more rewards. Online casinos, accustomed to generously lure players, are probably shocked by such restrictions, and some clearly do not agree with this.

Spelinspektionen has sent letters to several operators warning them of the possibility of losing their license if they fail to comply with the bonus rules. Plus, casinos will receive fines for violations. It is not reported which operators violated the rules.

According to some reports, an article appeared in the local newspaper, which deals with the case of violation of the bonus rules by the operator. Some casino has decided to use refunds instead of common bonuses, which is also prohibited. Presumably, this drew the attention of the regulator to this problem.

Apparently, Sweden will have one of the most tightly controlled gambling markets. The regulator is very active and responds quickly to problems. Efforts are aimed at minimizing the negative effects of online casinos on players. The country is even considering the possibility of a complete ban on any gambling advertising.

Spelinspektionen also drew attention to other practices of some not entirely responsible operators. The regulator found out that a number of casinos do not comply with the self-exclusion rules and send offers to players during this period.
